Tire Rotation

Free Tire Rotations from Levin Tire Center are an Easy Way to Prolong the Life of Your Tires

When was the last time you had your tires rotated? If you can’t remember, you’re probably overdue for a tire rotation. By the way, when you purchase tires at Levin Tire, we'll provide FREE rotation for as long as they're on your vehicle. That’s right, your tire rotation cost is FREE with Levin Tire and Auto Repair Services.

Rotating your tires regularly can result in significantly longer tread life and cost savings in the long run. Your front and back tires wear differently, as do your right and left tires. If you have a rear-wheel drive vehicle the weight distribution between your front and back tires is closer to a 50:50 ratio, however front wheel drive vehicles are closer to a 60:40 vehicle. That means your front wheels will wear out almost twice as fast as your rear wheels. Additionally, due to the way we drive, the tires on the left side of your vehicle tend to see more tread wear than the tires on the right side.

When you regularly rotate tires, you help equalize the tread wear, which is critical to maximizing tire life and your investment. Tires that wear evenly are also safer for driving.

How Often Should You Rotate Your Tires?

We suggest every 6,000 miles or every other time you have your oil changed. Because some vehicles have larger tires on the rear axle, the rotation patterns are limited. Check your owner’s manual for the manufacturer’s recommendation on tire rotation, or just pull into the Levin Tire location nearest you.

If your tires are beyond the help of rotation, we also fix tires, offer used tires for sale, and provide additional tire services.
