Cheryl began her career at Levin Tire in August, 2003. Her hard work and great customer service lead her promotion as Store Manager of Levin Tire Crown Point. She has been in the automotive industry for over 25 years. Cheryl has earned her degree in business and accounting, and has earned certificates from Goodyear, Dunlop, Kelly and Michelin. She also has received several Gold Tool Awards for her years of hard work in the service industry. Cheryl leads her team to go above and beyond for customers; to build trust and rapport with every guest. Her positivity and passion for her job is evident in the store’s loyal customer base.
Butch began his career at Levin Tire in October, 1996. He was promoted to Store Manager of Hobart in January, 2014. He has been in the automotive industry for over 30 years and is quite knowledgeable about tires and auto repair. Butch has received certifications from Goodyear and Michelin, and has undergone training on various vehicle systems. Butch has earned his ATI certificate and is also a certified Tire Expert and Performance Tire Specialist. Butch and his team are able to quickly recognize and diagnose problems with vehicles, and are able to assist customers in making well informed decisions about their vehicle.
Eric Greiner began his employment with Levin Tire in July, 2016, at Levin Tire of Crown Point. His managerial potential was quickly realized and he was promoted to Store Manager of Winfield in October, 2017. Prior to his time in the company, Greiner has worked in customer service and also spent time in the military, honing his mechanical skills. He was in the air force for more than six years and gained experience in weapon maintenance.
Like the inner workings of a vehicle, Greiner knows that every piece must fit like a puzzle in order to work. When it comes to managing a staff, each person makes up an important piece that makes the whole system run smoothly, which is what he appreciates about the company. “[There’s a] sense of belonging,” Greiner said. “Everyone here belongs and we take care of our people. That’s one of the biggest things, is that we make sure we take care of our people.”
Starting up at the Winfield location, Greiner took care to open up dialogue with his new staff, collaborating on methods they feel work best at the shop. “This is what I do that’s a bit different, and they all seem pretty open,” He said. “At the end of the day I want to take care of my people, and the customers up front. That’s what makes us successful and a leader in this industry.”
James Wayco has worked in the automotive industry all of his life, and for the past 8 years, has brought his expertise to Levin Tire throughout Northwest Indiana. He’s a people person and a problem solver, so working in this industry and with Levin Tire is the perfect blend of both.
